Accredited Gemologists Association (GIA) is an American gemology organization located in the United States.[1] Its headquarters are located in San Diego.
History
The Accredited Gemologists Association was formed in 1974, with the assistance of Antonio C. Bonanno and others from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.[2]
