Achem Pharmaceuticals is an Austrian pharmaceutical company that manufactures and distributes medical compounds.[1] The company is headquartered in Salzburg, Austria.[2] The company produces various types of drugs but mostly it focuses on research in the Testosterone Replacement Therapy field.[3]

The company originated in the second half of 2014 supplying local market hormonal therapy drugs and 5α-reductase inhibitors. On April 21 2015 company management decided to enlarge its activity and opened manufacturing facilities in UK and several countries of Eastern Europe. On June 25 in the same year, the company presented the enlarged product range of generic pharmaceutical products including cardiovascular drugs, gastrointestinal agents, aromatase inhibitors, bronchodilators, antispasmodics and analgesics.

Achem Pharmaceuticals is now engaged in the production of various types of pharmaceutical products including cardiovascular drugs, anabolic steroids, gastrointestinal agents, aromatase inhibitors, fat burners, antispasmodics and analgesics.
Studies show that about 30% of men between the ages of 40 and 80 suffer from various ways of sexual dysfunction, which is directly reflected in the demographic situation. This segment of people is generally the target audience for treatment via Testosterone Replacement Therapy.[4]
Quality standards[edit]
The company also is in compliance with GMP and GLP standards. They applied for independent private control of its products in October 2017. The tests were executed by Janoshik - Slovakian private laboratory specializing in testing pharmaceutical products on conformity with standards.[5] Multiple tests were also performed by Swiss independent private laboratory Simec AG.[citation needed]
