Ackeejuice Rockers is an electronic music duo founded in 2007[1] from venetian Dj/producers Ali Selecta & King P with productions of unique and eclectic musical influences that embrace numerous genres like dancehall, hip hop, soca, afrobeat, house and moombahton.
In 2013, Ackeejuice Rockers gain notoriety thanks to American rapper Kanye West, who involved them with the production of his sixth album YEEZUS, published by Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam. Invited by the rapper to his recording studio in Paris, under direction of executive producer Rick Rubin, the duo met and worked with and alongside Daft Punk, Gessaffelstain, Brodinski, Travi$ Scott, Arca, Lunice, Lupe Fiasco, Mike Dean, S1, Sham Joseph, Common and signed the co-production of “Guilt Trip feat. Kid Cudi”. During the same year, Ackeejuice Rockers produced the official remix of “Blocka” by Pusha-T feat. Popcaan & Travi$ Scott, on Universal Music/G.O.O.D Music.

Ali Selecta & King P, renowned by this highly influential Kanye West moment, intrigued the press and music blogs from around the world, which spoke highly about them as the new DJ duo to follow[2], gaining production interest from international artists like Sean Paul and Nicki Minaj. In Italy, Ackeejuice Rockers produce pieces for Marracash & Achille Lauro, Jake La Furia, Guè Pequeno, Mondo Marcio, Tormento, Mudimbi.[3]
In 2014 they participate to the first Italian edition of Red Bull Culture Clash, representing “Roccia Music”, the crew of Marracash and Shablo. American tours in 2014 and 2015 made influencers speak about them with great admiration about their live performances and production qualities. The Italian pop star Lorenzo Jovanotti invited them to perform and Djs as his opening act for the “Lorenzo Negli Stadi 2015” tour; first in Padova and then in Florence, where they perform with Italian rapper Salmo.
In 2015 Ackeejuice Rockers join the international music collective Flex Up Crew[4], together with artists like Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, Bad Royale, Henry Fong, Braindead, and Johnny Roxx, just to name a few.
Ackeejuice Rockers productions are played and supported regularly by famous international DJ’s and in 2016 they released their fourth project entitled “Future Dancehall” EP, published by Flex Up Records and Doner Music. “Future Dancehall” included collaborations with producers Big Fish, Aquadrop, Kharfi, Sonny Denja and singers Richie Loop, Melloquence, MC ZULU, Kinck and renowned influential DJ/ producer and radio host Diplo previewed their hit song ”Gyal Time”[5] on his BBC radio program “Diplo & Friends”[6]. The same year, “Gyal Time” became the official theme song of “Albertino Everyday”, the Italian radio program lead by Dj Albertino at Radio Deejay and in turn, in October 2016, they did an interview and live dj set for the show.
After completing their third USA tour in late 2016[7], the duo returned to Italy and started production with historic Italian producer Dj Mario Fargetta a track entitled “Addicted”[8], published that December through Universal Music Italia.
Lorenzo Jovanotti invite the duo to work at his 14th album “Oh, Vita!”,[9] produced again by Rick Rubin and published in 2017 with Universal Music Italia.[10] Ackeejuice Rockers share production credit with Jovanotti on the songs entitled “Sbam!” and “Le Canzoni”.
In December 2017 the duo travelled to Milan and performed at “Jova Pop Shop”[11][12], a temporary shop open by Jovanotti for the release of his album “Oh, Vita!”. On stage, the duo performed alongside artists such as Johan Thiele, Bud Spencer Blues Explosion,Samuel, Dj Ralf, Don Joe, Tiromancino, Istituto Italiano Di Cumbia, Cosmo, Takagi & Ketra, Francesca Michielin, Luca Carboni, Big Fish, Rkomi and Charlie Charles.
With their international credits continually rising, Ackeejuice Rockers ensure their music productions with international singers and mainstream rappers to collaborate on their latest releases for 2018.
