Adenekan Mayowa (born October 23, 1990), also known as Mayorspeaks, is a Nigerian talent manager, PR expert, author, and digital media entrepreneur.[1][2] He is the publicity manager to actress Matilda Lambert[3][4] and Ace TV presenters VJ Adams and Kie Kie.[5] He is also a social media influencer with over 280,000 followers on Instagram and more than 90,000 on Twitter. He was recently honoured with the Ogun Choice Award.
Early life and education[edit]
Mayowa was born on October 23, 1990, in Agege, Lagos state, Nigeria, to Rafiu Wole and Bolanle Christiana Adenekan. He had his primary education at Abiks International School and attended secondary school at the Lagos State Model Junior College Meiran. He then got degrees in soil science and land management at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. While still on campus, Mayowa started working as a radio broadcaster with OGBC 90.5, Rockcity 101.9 FM.
He went on to get a degree from ESTG University in the Benin Republic. He later went on to the London Institute of Internet Marketing and Research studies, Dubai, UAE, where he completed his diploma in Digital Marketing. While in Dubai, he was also certified as a digital media expert by the Ministry of Education, UAE, in 2018. Later, Mayowa obtained a master's degree in public relations and digital advertising from Lagos State University.[5][6][7]

Mayowa got his start in digital media in 2010 when he launched a tabloid Rockcitygist in Ogun state. In 2011, he began working as a radio host for Rockcity FM, from which he moved to OGBC 90.5 FM in 2013. He became the official handler of the TV Channel at Goldmyne TV, an online television station, in 2016. The same year, Inferno Game Zone, a professional e-sports organization in Dubai, hired him. He stayed with the e-sports company for two years as the head of digital media. Presently, Mayowa is the CEO of BeOnTop, a talent management firm in Nigeria. He is also the head of digital media for Swiss Breveage Brand, Vivi kola, in the Middle East. He is also the creative director of the tabloid "RockcityGist", now "OgunNewsHub".[7][8][9]
Mayowa is a social media activist and he has initiated several activities regarding the entertainment industry in Nigeria. As a public relations expert, Mayowa has been offering his influencer marketing services.[10][11][12][13]

Awards and recognition[edit]
- Mayowa has received the Ogun Choice Award in 2022, for his contributions to the digital growth in southwest Nigeria.[19][20][21]
- From 2015 to 2020, Mayowa received the "Ogun State Blogger of the Year" title five times in a row.[19]
