Adewale Demehin is a Nigerian actor, script writer and director who is predominantly known for his role as Josiah the cab driver in the sitcom titled Jenifa's Diary.[1]

Early life and education[edit]

Adewale is from Ese Odo local government of Ondo state, west of Nigeria. He studied Geography And Regional Planning at the Lagos State University LASU, before moving to the United Kingdom to obtain a Masters degree in Geographic Information Systems at the University of Glamorgan.[2] alongside nollywood actress Funke Akindele.

Personal life[edit]

Adewale Demehin married Abimbola Akindele, the sister of Funke Akibdele in May, 2014 in Lagos. Adewale is also the cofounder of Mercy Upon Mercy charity organization, with his wife the founder.[3] In December, 2017, the organization led it's team in a visit to the old people's home in Yaba[4] The marriage has produced a son.

Career[edit]

Adewale has since been into acting since 2001, but came into limelight in 2015 when he appeared on the award winning sitcom Jenifa's Diary.[5] [6]Adewale has played several roles in stage plays including:

• OLD MOYO (GCK), 2001

• AJAGBE (Divine Assembly), 2009

• OBA (Divine Assembly), 2010.

Adewale has an ongoing programme known as Ajalangers, a new coined name after its named episode. He's known as Josiah.Ajala and Mistacreativity who portrays the geek in a short regular comedy skit which has featured several celebrities including Dance Machine, Pearl Agwu (Gemstones) who was the 1st runner up during the Project Fame West Africa in 2015.
