The Adylat Al Bahar Mosque (Arabic: مسجد عادلة البحر), formally known as Mamluki Lancet Mosque[1], is a Mosque located in Block 4 in Al Mesayel Area of Kuwait. It is Inspired by the Islamic dome pendentive Muqarnas whose basic shape is an offset of a 45° rotation of a square shape around its center.

Designed by Babnimnim, It is one of their latest projects[2] to be finished and one of their largest projects. The mosque's area spans 1,160 square meters (12,486 square feet). The mosque itself is considered an architectural masterpiece[3] by the locals of the Al Mesayel Area. It also accommodates both men and women in the Mosque.

The Mosque is a modern building inspired by the traditional Mamluki architecture of Islamic Cairo, the mass is designed to respect the context of the land and the direction of the Qibla.

Architecture[edit]

The inside of the mosque.

The Inside of the Mosque contains no pillars, which makes it have a giant space for Muslims to pray in. In the outside of the mosque, it contains 30 Palm Trees, 16 in the front and 14 in the back. It also contains a large wooden door that makes up as the entrance to the Mosque. It also contains a Wudu station inside and outside the Mosque.
