Early Life and Academics[edit]
Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke was born on August 28[1], 1973, in Nigeria. She is a humanitarian, philanthropist, and banker who founded the Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation[2][3]. She is legally and customarily married to Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke[4], who became the tenth governor of Osun State, Nigeria in 2022. Since her husband's inauguration in 2022[5][6], Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke has served as the First Lady[7][8] of Osun State. She is the fourth child in a family of eight and comes from Dimorji Obokwe Mbieri in Imo State.
Ngozi began her primary education at Community Primary School Amalie 1 in Mbieri, Imo State. Later, she moved to Otukpa, Benue State, where she attended Community Secondary School. After completing her secondary education, she went on to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka[9], where she earned a B.Sc. in Psychology. She then pursued an MBA in Advertising and Public Relations at Imo State University. Ngozi completed her NYSC at Societe Generale Bank, Dugbe Branch, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Ngozi began her banking career at the Dugbe branch of Societe Generale Bank in Ibadan. Throughout her career, she worked with seven different banks, including FIN BANK, UBA, and UNION BANK. She left the banking industry in 2018 after working as a manager[10] to support her husband in his political career[11].
Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation[edit]
Erelu Ngozi Adeleke is the pioneer of ESTHER ADELEKE HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION[12][3]; an NGO dedicated to providing healthcare services, food aid, and education to the needy.
