Aimee La Joie is an American actress known for her Film Crew[1][2][3] and Say Yes To The Dress viral videos.[4][5] She stars in the films Freedom, WI and Refuge.
Life and career[edit]
La Joie grew up in Bonsall, California.[6]
She started acting at University of California Berkeley before relocating to San Diego.[7][8]
La Joie created a YouTube web series called Bumble Bums[9] and was nominated for Best Actress at the 2017 GI Film Festival San Diego for her work on Refuge.[10]
Her viral TikTok video Film Crew[11] was included in Make it Work, a women in film special that aired on The CW in 2020.[12]
In 2020, La Joie was the subject for a social distance toast at Women in Film Cincinnati.[13]
In 2021, La Joie made a guest appearance at the Location Managers Guild Awards[14][15] and was featured in Scene and Heard at St. John's International Women's Film Festival.[16]
She has talked about her desire to join Saturday Night Live because each week they get to do something fresh.[17]
La Joie has expressed that she didn't get results from working on the projects of others so she began creating her own content.[18]
She stars in the film Freedom, Wisconsin.[19]
