Airport Road is the main road to the airport and a road connection from Tung Chung and Hong Kong International Airport in Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong.
The road begins with the end of Route 8 (Exit 1) from Lantau Island as three lane road and into the airport at Chep Lap Kok. The road travels along the eastern side of the airport. The road changes to a two lane road before ends at a traffic circle near the Regal Airport Hotel at Cheong Tat Road (next to the north end of the main terminal building).
It is not defined as part of any highway in Hong Kong, though the speed limit is still 80 km/h, a normal standard of the speed limit in normal highways. Most airport buses would travel along this road to reach the main terminals of the Airport. The railway tracks of the Airport Express are located just next to the Road.
Airport Road is access to a few smaller roads on Chep Lap Kok:
