The Ajax Coaching Academy (ACA) is a football coaching academy based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from where the organization works closely with over 43 partner clubs worldwide. The academy is the primary coaching clinic of Dutch footballing giants Ajax Amsterdam.[1]
History[edit]
Founded on January 23rd, 2016 by Corné Groenendijk and Casimir Westerveld, both youth coaches from the famed Ajax Youth Academy, the academy works closely with coaches and scouts such as Heini Otto, Peter van der Hengst, Simon Tahamata, Joost van Dam and Peter Musters. The Ajax Coaching Academy is active on four different fronts. The department wants to gain knowledge and exchange knowledge with different parties at national and international level. And internally, the Ajax Coaching Academy wants to bundle and collect all knowledge and expertise, and then propagate that.[2]
Camps and Clinics[edit]
In addition the Ajax Coaching Academy host a variety of camps and clinics for both players and coaches in countries such as in the United States, China, Australia, Italy, Suriname and more.[3][4][5][6]
