Alexandra Ghemu (born January, 4, 1995, Chișinău, Moldova) known professionally as Alex Litt (Russian: Алекс Литт)^[1] — Europe photographer, blogger. Specializes in art nude genre.

Alex is an European photographer^[2]^[3], who shows the beauty of human bodies as they were created by nature in her photography. She is a finalist and winner - 3rd place, Honor of Distinction in Nude of an International Color Awards 10^th ed.^[4] - American well known contest for amateur and professional photographers.

Early life[edit]

Alexandra Ghemu was born on January, 4, 1995 in Chișinău, Moldova, an only child. Her paternal and maternal relatives were from Moldova and Russia, respectively. She obtained her first photo camera when she was 9 years old.^[5] and graduated art school in 2007^[6]^[7]^[8]^[9].

Career[edit]

In 2013 when Alex was 18 she started to organize photo shootings. She launched a project^[10]^[11]^[12] for photographers, models^[13]^[14], make-up artists and designers^[15]. The interest for the project went down as soon as Alex started to shoot by herself when she was 19 - a lot of time was invested in studying photography.

I’ve chosen this genre for shooting as I really enjoy the pure beauty of human body since the time when I was studying at the art school. I try to mix and combine the pure beauty of nature, human and animal world. I want to show that there is nothing vulgar and disgusting in naked human – women and men.

In 2017 Alex worked as content manager^[20]^[21] at Recording Facility^[22] in Chișinău, trying herself as Co-Executive Producer^[23]^[24] of a short film in the same time. She was an organizer's assistant and photographer on a Grand Musical Tour of the Moldova's cities^[25]^[26]. in summer 2017 by Alina Deliss and Constantin Moscovici, Moldavian composer and artist.

In 2018 Alex worked as interior designer^[27] in collaboration with one of the local photo studios. She works as freelance-photographer^[28]^[29]. Her works were first published on the official Vogue Italy website in 2018, winter^[30], Dark Beauty Magazine^[31] — online & print^[32].

In 2015 has received the status of "Top 20 Photographers in Chișinău" in the contest 35Awards 2015^[33].
In 2016 was awarded with Nominee in Fine Art Photography Awards 2015-2016 - in the Portrait category^[34].
In 2016 has received the status of "Top 10 Photographers in Chișinău" and "Top 20 Photographers in Moldova" in the contest 35Awards 2016^[35].
In 2017 has received the status of "Top 30 Photographers in Chișinău" and "Top 30 Photographers in Moldova" in the contest 35Awards 2017^[36].
In 2019 has received the status of "Top 35 Photographers in Chișinău" and "Top 35 Photographers in Moldova" in the contest 35Awards 2019^[37].

In 2017 was awarded with Nominee in Nudes in Fine Art Photography Awards 2016-17^[44]
In 2017 obtained Honorable Mention in Fine Art, Nudes in Neutral Density photography awards 2017^[45]^[46]
In 2018 was included in Acceptance list Special Themes Circuit 2018^[47] from TRIERENBERG SUPER CIRCUIT contest under Photographic Society of America and FIAP
In 2018 was awarded in CAS Photo Academy International Photo Contest 2018 with Master of Light Photo Association (MoL Diploma) and was included in Acceptance list CAS Photo Academy International Photo Contest 2018^[48] from CAS Photo Academy contest (India) under Photographic Society of America and Master of Light Photographic Association (MoL).^[49]^[50]
In 2019 was awarded with Nominee in Nudes in International Color Awards 12^[51];

Volunteer experience[edit]

Alex took part in public actions^[52]^[53] to protect homeless animals in Chișinău in 2011–2013. She was volunteer in a shelter for stray dogs^[54]^[55]^[56]
