Alfonso Rojo López (born December 4, 1951) is a Spanish journalist, author, television host, businessman, and former war correspondent. He first worked as a photojournalist for Diario 16 and later on he wrote for ABC and La Razón. Rojo is the current director of Periodista Digital.

Alfonso Rojo was born in Ponferrada on December 4, 1951. He studied Law in Santiago de Compostela and Journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid. He married Ana Rosa Quintana in 1983 but divorced four years later in 1987.

Rojo has been working as a war correspondent in various countries such as Germany, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Grenada, United States of America, Afghanistan, Irak, Cuba, South Africa among others.

As a television host, Rojo appeared in La Sexta, Antena 3, Telecinco and Intereconomia.

While working for Diario 16 in Esteli, Nicaragua in 1979, Rojo was expelled from the country.[1]
