Ali Jean Çorakçı, (born 11 February 1985) is Turkish journalist and writer of French descent. Besides being a journalist in media organizations such as Aydınlık Newspaper, Ulusal Kanal, Super Haber TV, Kamudan Haber and Kozmopolitik, he is well known with his memoir book, Eski Bir Alkoliğin Günlüğü. He is still a journalist on Şalom newspaper.
Born on February 11, 1985 in Beyoğlu, İstanbul, Çorakçı completed his primary education at the Pierre Loti Primary School. He received his high school diploma at Özel Nilgün Doğay Lisesi, located in Şişli. Following his high school education, he graduated from Pantheon-Sorbonne University in France and came back to Turkey. When he returned to Istanbul, he continued his education at Beykent University Tourism Guidance. Until 2015, he worked in the tourism sector and also worked as a journalist in newspapers and news channels. He worked in Enka Group of Companies in 2015 and during that time he was a translator and chief of staff in Gabon. 
In 2016, he continued journalism and writing as full time. Having been a journalist in media organizations such as Aydınlık Newspaper, Ulusal Kanal, Super Haber TV, Kamudan Haber and Kozmopolitik, Çorakçı has been a columnist in the Şalom newspaper since 2016. 
Çorakçı who was treated in 2010 due to alcoholism, took notes what he lived during the treatment and published into a book. His book, Eski Bir Alkoliğin Günlüğü was published by Cinius Publications in 2016. Çorakçı is now working on the French translation of his book.
