Ali Marashi is an Iranian pianist and composer. He was born in 1978 and studied at the Tehran Conservatory.[1]
Early Life[edit]
Ali Marashi learned the piano from an early age of 12. His mentors include Khachik Babayan and Aranzazu Gonzalez.[2]
Career[edit]
Ali Marashi began his musical career in 1998, and has three official CDs for piano and orchestra titled "Abitarin," "Magical Dance," and "Magical Dream." "Abitarin" was his first album. Ali Marashi was the composer and the musician of this album.[3] Marashi has also performed and recited in Tehran and other locations, including Persepolis with the help of the Navaye Clavier Company, a reputable piano sales agency in Iran, and an album and concert producer.[1][4]
Ali Marashi has worked as a pianist with a number of singers, including Farzad Farzin, Mohsen Yeganeh, and others. He has performed in the field of pop-rock singing, with one of his most notable works being the music cover of "I Will Survive," which was performed in both Persian and English [1] which he learnt this from his teachers, Khachik Babayan and Aranzazu Gonzalez.[5]
The album "Magic Dance" by Ali Marashi has six songs: "Magic Dance," "Dance of Nostalgia," "Road of Memories," "Blue Eyes," "A Beautiful Day," and "Rondo." The first two tunes in this compilation are rhythmic and a mix of Iranian pop and jazz music. The third composition, "Road of Memories," is written for the piano and dedicated to "Andranik Madadian."[1]
