Alireza Badiee with the creator name Alvis Wolff (Persian: علیرضا بدیعی; born June 11, 1990 in Shiraz.) is a Swedish-Iranian director, screenwriter and producer in a film production, television production and commercial.
Biography[edit]
Alireza Badiee with the creator name Alvis Wolff (born June 11, 1990) is a Swedish Iranian director, screenwriter and producer in broadcast media industry. Born in Shiraz, Iran, Badiee worked as a commercial photographer in Iran for several years. In 2007 he graduated from Bahonar University in the field of computer software engineering. At university, he became interested in multimedia and VFX. At a young age, he started working with several advertising agencies and photography studios. In the following years, he became interested in the medium of cinema and video.[1]
Badiee advanced his education by joining The Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS) in 2012 and studied cinema for almost two years. His dissertation film was not approved by the board of the Iranian Young cinema society same while his film was approved as officially selected films at the Nikon European Film Festival 2015/2016.[2] In 2015 Badiee left his homeland and immigrated to Sweden. After emigrating to Gothenburg, Sweden, he advanced his education in film production in Göteborgs Folkhögskola.
In 2022, Alireza Badiee changed his name to Alvis Wolff [3] and from now on, he will continue his activities with this name.
Collaborations[edit]
In 2015 Badiee started to work with Forsman & Bodenfors Studio and had the chance to work with well-known Scandinavian like Volvo, H&M, Marabou, Georg Jensen, Tele2, Västtrafik, etc.
As an independent music video producer Badiee has collaborated with prominent Iranian artists like Shahin Najafi, Mana Neyestani, Yaghma Golroei, Erwin Khachikian, Habib Meftah, Niaz Nawab, etc.
Badiee has collaboration with films, and television production under various titles for example the hit series Persia's Got Talent for MBC Persia network. His other projects in TV include Jamie Johnson TV Series for BBC One as the camera and electrical department, Nowruz Special VOA & Riksteatern and Chaharshanbe Suri Special for MBC Persia & Riksteatern.
As an independent director and screenwriter he produced about seven films.
