Allahabad Monorail is a planned monorail for serving the city of Allahabad. All the villages are to be connected according to the state government. Allahabad has around 70,000 villages and very soon all will be connected to cities. A village boy can come to a city coaching institute and safely return home in the evening. A survey was carried out by the officials of Allahabad Development Authority for identifying a 70-kilometre stretch of land for the project. The plan came into existence after receiving directives from the state government.[1]
