Allison Cantor is an American film and television score composer. She is also an orchestrator, copyist, score coordinator [2] and vocalist. [3]

Biography[edit]

Cantor began playing piano at age 4 and composed her first piece of music at age 5. She attended Gettysburg College, studying music composition, religion and German, and performing in several vocal ensembles.[3] She studied film composition at Columbia College Chicago [4] and recorded her thesis film score at Capitol Studios. After moving to Los Angeles, she met her long-time mentor Mark Isham, with whom she has collaborated for several years.[3] She is married to fellow composer Lucas Cantor.[2]

Her first feature film work was as a copyist on Dolphin Tale[3] and she has contributed to several full runs of television shows as composer, orchestrator and copyist, including Once Upon A Time, American Crime, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and Mob City.[2]
