Almost Legendary is an American pop band from Atlanta, Georgia that was formed in 2009. The band has four members: lead vocalist and bassist Mark Coryell, guitarist and backup vocalist Chris Nixon, guitarist and keyboardist Brian O'Connor, and drummer Ryan Fox. Pulling from the influence of the late 50's pop-punk sound and the currently popular electronic dance songs, Almost Legendary has developed a unique combination of the two styles. On September 2, 2011, Almost Legendary self-released their debut 3-song EP titled Bright Lights, and played on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour.[citation needed][1]
History
The band was formed in the fall of 2009 when lead vocalist and bassist, Mark Coryell, assembled Chris Nixon, Brian O'Connor, and called on his friend and former drummer of Lollygag, Ryan Fox. The band started playing shows and recorded their first set of 4 demo tracks with Craig Carlson in April 2010. A second set of 3 demo tracks were recorded with Craig Carlson in the fall of 2010. The band then went on to self-release their 2011 EP, Bright Lights, produced by Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount.[2]
