Alpha is an American online dating app specifically designed to provide a dating environment to the LGBTQ+ community. It was launched in 2021 by Niloufar and Neima Banisaied as a subsidiary of Privileged Trading. Alpha is headquartered in Los Angeles,[1] and runs on iOS[2] and Android.[3]

Alpha was launched in 2021 by Privileged Trading, an international holdings company specialized in deploying works within the dating applications market.
Features[edit]
Alpha's aims to give users a secure and private experience, a friendly and diverse community, and more features and filters than other gay dating apps, making sure no one from the LGBTQ+ community gets left behind and or mistreated.[4] In 2021, it became the first dating app to add a community for PrEP users. The same year they launched Alpha Version 2, which included new communities, relationship types, sex preferences, and safety practices as well as a video chat option.[5]
