AltegroSky is a communications satellite Russian operator providing communication services and solutions for the government, large and small business, communication operators and the consumer market. AltegroSky serves about 22% of all VSAT terminals installed in Russia. As of January 2019, about 900 certified partner companies operate under AltegroSky brand, serving over 23100 subscriber’s satellite terminals.
Members of the group: Race Telecom CJSC, Set Telecom CJSC and MT CJSC. All the telecommunication operators are fully licensed to provide data transmission, telematics, satellite channel lease and local telephone exchange services.

Teleport network core radio equipment has 1: 1 redundancy (Etherchannel и STP), providing antenna posts with anti-icing and auto tracking systems, electric power organized by category I. Round-the-clock support and maintenance of teleport equipment is performed by qualified personnel.

Key agreements

2017.
The project on arranging communication channels for the companies in the oil and gas sector was started in November 2017.
Telespazio, Gazprom Space Systems and AltegroSky Group of Companies acted as the partners of this project. The parties signed a number of agreements. Telespazio and Gazprom Space Systems entered into the contract for using Yamal-202 satellite capacity. The contract for the provision of satellite services was signed with AltegroSky Group of Companies. It includes the provision of teleport services to organize the dedicated channel, as well as broadband access services and telephony.

2018.
Inflight connectivity (IFC) services over the Eurasia region.
Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic) and the Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) have partnered to provide inflight connectivity (IFC) services over the Eurasia region. The services will be provided via RSCC’s state-of-the-art Express-AM5 and Express-AM6 Ku-band satellites. As part of the partnership, Panasonic has entered into an agreement with AltegroSky Group for the provision of infrastructure that enables Panasonic to provide inflight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) services via the Russian satellites. The network will be managed via AltegroSky’s Network Management teleports (NMCs) in Moscow and Khabarovsk. Landing transit traffic at these NMCs will be delivered to the link up station with the MMTS9 operator via terrestrial communication channels.
