American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story is an upcoming Hollywood biopic directed by Andrew and Jon Erwin. The tale of NFL MVP and corridor of fame quarterback, Kurt Warner, who went from stocking cabinets at a supermarket to becoming an American football famous person.[1]

It is scheduled to be released on December 10, 2021, by Lionsgate.

Plot[edit]

Former Arizona Cardinal quarterback Kurt Warner is getting a biopic referred to as “American Underdog: The Kurt Warner story” that is set to hit theaters this December. His famous rags-to-riches tale is one for a while. He began with the aid of bagging groceries in Iowa. He was ignored by way of department 1 schools and performed a stint in the NFL’s European league. He subsequently made his way onto the St. Louis Rams wherein he lit up and became one of the league’s best quarterbacks. The movie is going to be based on Warner’s 2001 memoir “All matters viable: My story of faith, football and the primary Miracle Season.” Christian filmmakers Jon and Andrew Erwin, and “Friday night time lights” screenwriter David Aaron Cohen are adapting the player’s life tale for the huge display. Warner played in the NFL for 12 years including 5 seasons with the Cardinals. In 2009, he led the group to their best outstanding Bowl appearance, and in 2017, he became inducted into the NFL corridor of reputation.[2][3]

Pre-production started on May 2, 2020. The film is a biopic about American football player Kurt Warner[6] and also producer for this film.[7]

Release[edit]

It is scheduled to be released on December 10, 2021.[8][9][10] It was previously scheduled to be released on December 18, 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
