Amplus Solar is an Asian distributed energy company known for providing low-carbon energy solutions.[1][2][3]

History[edit]

Amplus Solar was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Gurugram, India.[4][5][6][7]

Amplus is a member of PETRONAS (Petroliam Nasional Berhad) Group, Malaysia.[8][9][10][11] Among the notable clients of the company include Government establishments such as Delhi Metro, Indian Railways and others.[12][13][14][15]

In November 2016, Amplus Energy Solutions became the first Indian company to win the bid to install 14.5 MW of solar rooftop plants by offering the cheapest solar power rates to the users, at a record low price in three states - Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Puducherry.[16][17]

In February 2018, during the Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit, the company entered into an agreement with the Uttar Pradesh government to set up a facility with 500 MW solar power capacity.[18]
