Ana Ortega (1980) is a Spanish metaphysical author and award-winning screenwriter. Her first book, Vegan Recipes for Newbies (2013), won a Worldwide Gourmand award for Best Vegetarian cookbook worldwide. In 2015, her novel, Taxi, Life Stories, later renamed A Journey to Love, became a finalist in the Beverly Hills Screenplay Contest.[1] In June 2016, she received the prestigious Mom's Choice Awards® with Bruno, the yellow lab. [2] Most recently, in 2018, she won the First Prize Hollywood Hills Romantic Comedy Award and the Cannes Screenplay Winner Award for "Meet you at George's".[3]
