Andrew Listermann (born January 14, 1983) is an American music video director and producer, film producer and record label executive.[1] He is best known for producing the film documentary Chris Brown: Welcome To My Life.[2]

Early life and education[edit]

Listermann was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, attended Turpin High School where he won the soccer state championship during his senior season. He attended Northern Kentucky University for about two years and moved to Los Angeles because of an injury to become a producer and director in the music and film industries.[3]

Listermann produced the Jay-Z feat Mr. Hudson, “Young Forever” music video that was directed by Anthony Mandler. He has produced and directed videos with numerous artists and musicians, including Sam Smith, Chris Brown, Tyga, G-Eazy, Redman,[4] and Lady Gaga.[5]

Filmography[edit]

In 2017, Listermann made his film documentary debut producing, Chris Brown: Welcome To My Life, which was released on June 8 with Fathom Events.[2][6][7]

The documentary Mary J Blige: The Making of 'Strength of a Woman' was released on VH1 in conjunction with Blige's Strength of a Woman album. In 2018, he produced the feature film Never Heard directed by Josh Webber and starring David Banner and Romeo Miller.[8]

In 2008, Listermann founded Riveting Entertainment, a content studio and independent record label.[3]
