Andriy Bilyy (born 18 February 1968; Kyiv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and social activist; President of the Equestrian Association of Ukraine[1] and President of the Ukrainian Polo Federation.[2]
Biography
Andriy was born on the 18th of February 1968 in Kyiv. In 1991, he earned a degree in robotics at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Career
Until 1993, Bilyy worked as the head of the company “Delta-comp” that specialized in food wholesale, afterwards – in the same position at “Tinga International Corp.” for another two years.
Until 2003, he held the position of president of Ukrainian-Dutch beverage company “UDD Company”.[3]
Up to 2010 he worked as a director of beverage company “Monastyrsky kvas”.[4]
Since 2010 he has been the head of the Supervisory board of “Lysychansk brewery” and national pawnshop network “Chesnyi Vidsotok”.[5]
In 2010, Andriy Bilyy became a CEO of Electric Marathon International,[6] which created and promoted national electric vehicles[7] and a President of European electric vehicles rally “EV Trophy”,[8] which became a regular event throughout 10 European countries.[9]
Andriy Bilyy is an implementer of the project Synchronous, which became a prototype of the first Ukrainian electric vehicle.
Equestrian sport
Andriy Bilyy is actively developing equestrian sport in Ukraine. He is a horse owner and breeder.[10] In November 2016 he was selected as the president of the Kyiv region Equestrian Federation.
From March 2017 to October 2020, Bilyy was a Vice-president of Equestrian Federation of Ukraine.[1]
In 2018, he founded the first Ukrainian magazine on the equestrian world — «EQUESTRIAN».[11]
From 2017 to 2020, he was the President of the Professional Equestrian League of Ukraine.[12]
In 2021, Bilyy became the President of the Equestrian Association of Ukraine.
