Angel Poland Group – an International construction and development company based in Kraków, which is also responsible for the maintenance and managing of their facilities (both hotels and apartment blocks). The group was found in 2003, and it currently employs over 300 people. Angel Poland Group specializes in the renovation of post-industrial and historical buildings in Poland’s biggest cities.

Since 2018 Angel Poland Group is a member of Polish Association of Developers (PZFD), and founder of one of the PZFD’s Kraków[1] unit.

The group built Angel Plaza, Angel City and Angel Wawel housing projects in Kraków, and Angel Wings and Angel River complexes in Wrocław. Under group’s management are also two hotels constructed by the group in Wrocław: The Granary and OVO Hilton Wrocław. The group in its structures has a general contractor company – Angel Construction[2], and the entity responsible for managing of facilities built by the group – Angel Management.[3]

Angel Poland Group built a senior center complex (Centrum Seniora Angel Care) which was first of that type facility in Poland. It was sold in 2018 to international capital group ORPEA.

Currently, the Angel Poland Group realizes the following projects:[edit]

  • Angel Stradom along with five-star hotel – Stradom House which belongs to Autograph Collection by Marriott in Kraków.[4]
  • Angel City in Wrocław[5]

Completed projects:[edit]

  • Sławkowska street – first realized revitalization by Angel Poland Group. Historical building located nearby Main Square in Kraków. It was purchased by a developer in 2003.[6]
  • CMC Katowice – office and commercial center situated in Rożdzieńskiego Avenue.
  • Wilanów One – was first Angel Group Poland project, located close to Wilanów Commons. The investment was planned to have a total area of 200 000 sqm. The Group participated only in the first phase of the constructions. In 2007, Angel Poland Group sold all of its Wilanów One shares.[7]
  • Angel Plaza – luxurious apartments situated in Zwierzyniecka Street, in close proximity to Wawel Castle. In the complex are many amenities for residents just as wellness with fitness club, sauna and jacuzzi.[8]
  • The Granary Hotel – building, located in Wroclaw’s historical center, in Mennicza Street. Medieval Granary was revitalized and adapted to be a luxurious hotel with 47 apartments.[9]
  • Angel City – exquisite apartment complex located in Szlak Street, Kraków. The building was part of revitalization project “New City”, which purpose was to renovate area nearby Kraków Główny train station. The investment consists of five buildings which have 345 luxurious flats in total.
  • Angel Wings – one of the most relevant revitalization projects realized by the Angel Poland Group in Wrocław. It is located in Walońska street, parallelly to Oława river.[10] The building has cascaded terraces, which are facing the river. Angel Wings project was awarded the second place in “Best Architectural Investment in Wrocław” contest in 2011.[11]
  • Angel Wawel – residential facility situated nearby Vistula River and historical center of Krakow. The buildings, which are the base for the apartment complex, in the past, were part of the monastery. For residents, many conveniences were made, for example, sauna, water pool, fitness zone, library and playground. The investment was awarded as the “Most Prestigious Residential Investment”.[12]
  • Ovo – apartment and business complex located in the center of Wrocław in Podwale and Słowackiego streets. In the building is situated five-star OVO Double Tree Hilton hotel. Penthouses, offices, studio apartments and commercial locals have also been created in Ovo. For residents are provided round-the-clock services like fitness and wellness zone, Spa and concierge. The building was awarded the “Most Luxurious Apartment Complex” title.[13]
  • Angel Care - senior center complex built in Dyrekcyjna street in Wrocław. There are 48 furnished apartments. The facility is equipped with over 200 specialistic beds designed for elderly and infirm people.[14] The Angel Care residents are provided with twenty-four-hour medical and nursing care, access to the library and physical therapy. The Angel Poland Group sold the facility in 2018.[15]
  • Angel River – is a continuation of Angel Wings project. The investment was designed by two architecture offices: Gottesman Szmelcman Architecture and Maćków. It is located directly by the Oława river, in Walońśka street. The Angel River complex consists of two main buildings, one is nine, and the second is seventeen floors high.[16]

  • Angel Poland Group – “Best Luxury Real Estate Company” – Poland. Gained during “Real Estate and Property Awards” (November 2019) hosted by British magazine “BUILD”[18]
  • River – “Engineer of the Year” in “Construction Manager” category, individual award gained by Mrs Ewa Kruszyna for realizing Angel River investment.[19][20]
  • Wrocław – “Investment of the Year 2017” – awarded by TOPBuilder.[21] “Best New Hotel of the Year in Poland” – Eurobuild Awards 2016.[22]
  • Wawel – “Revalorization of the Year 2016” – awarded by Mój Dom.[23] “The Most Prestigious Residential Investment in Poland 2015” – Otodom[24]
  • Plaza – “ECC Real Estate Quality 2007” award for the best residential investment.
