Angithee is an Indian Hindi 2021 drama Bollywood movie. Due to the ongoing pandemic, it was released exclusively on OTT platforms, Shemarroome and Airtelxtreme in the month of April.[1]. Directed by Rahat Kazmi, the movie debuts Ritu Rajput and also stars Rahat Kazmi and Tariq Khan in lead roles. [2]
Plot[edit]
A free spirited woman named Firdous (Ritu Rajput) is married off in a house where even watching TV seems like a crime. Her husband, Hameed (Tariq Khan), is nice to her but has no guts to stand infront of his conservative father. Hameed's old friend Shahid (Rahat Kazmi) comes back from Punjab where he was a labour contracter and has evolved a lot by travelling outside. Shahid and Firdous get close to each other and end up falling in love and living their desires together. Firdous has a different life whenever she is with Shahid, things change big time when Hameed gets to know about the fact that his wife is sleeping with his friend.

Produced by Rahat Kazmi Films, Tariq Khan Productions and Zeba Sajid Films, in association with Seven Two Creations & Alphaa Production, the film is directed by Rahat Kazmi and co-written by Rahat Kazmi and Kritika Rampal. The entire film has been shot in Jammu District - Ragooda village, Narwal Chowk, Bajalta and Jammu City.[3]
