John Tucker (born c. 1992 or 1993), known by his stage name Ankhlejohn (stylized in all caps), is an American rapper, record producer and music executive.

Career

Tucker was born in Washington, D.C., c. 1992 or 1993.[1] He began rapping in high school, under the name Uncle John, later changing it to Ankhlejohn, in reference to the Egyptian Ankh.[2] In 2014, he founded Shaap Records.[3]

Artistry

Tucker's is known for his soulful boom bap production.[4] He cites The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Jay-Z, Ghostface Killah and Roc Marciano as influences.[1]
