Anna Maria Burdzy (born 11 January 1992) is a British model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned as Miss Universe Great Britain 2017 and represented Great Britain at Miss Universe 2017 pageant.[1] In the pageant she placed in the Top 16.
Education
Anna attended Leicester Grammar School in Leicestershire where she achieved high grades throughout her school years. She attended the University of Nottingham studying Law and graduated in 2013 with a 2:1 degree. Anna returned in 2016 to pursue a Masters in Law, specialising in Human Rights Law in which she graduated with Distinction in the summer of 2018.
Charity
Anna has always been active with her charity work. Working with the homeless in her hometown Leicester by coordinating donations between local businesses and the local shelter, as well as actively fundraising. Anna has also travelled to India to meet with acid attack victims and visit an elephant sanctuary. She worked with the poorest communities in Manila and in Bangkok and recently volunteered in South Africa with both local communities and in animal conservation efforts.
