Annet Nambooze (commonly known as Anna Talia Oze) is a Ugandan news anchor and TV Host at NBS Television.[1][2][3] She anchors "Amasengejje" a Luganda news bulletin on NBS Television. She is the founder of Women For Her Uganda a Non Government Organisation (NGO) in Kampala.[1][4][5]

Early life and education[edit]

Oze was born in Kampala. She completed her Primary Leaving Examination from Lungujja Hill Primary School,[6] Alliance Secondary School for O level and her A Level at Old Kampala Secondary School.[2][3] She later joined Makerere University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education.[1][7]

Career[edit]

She worked at Urban TV as a host for 101 Campus show (2013-2016).[8] Between 2016-2019 she joined Spark TV where she hosted Live wire (an Entertainment TV show).[2][9] Later in 2019, Oze left Spark TV to join NBS Television. Previously, she presented "Uncut Kalakata" which aired on Monday to Friday on both NBS television and Sanyuka TV.[7][5] Currently, she anchors Amasengejje (the Luganda News bulletin) on NBS Television.[10][11]

She is the founder of "Women For Her Uganda" an NGO in Kampala.[12][13]

Awards[edit]

Ozze was nominated for RTV academy awards twice as best female TV personality and best dressed media personality.[4][3] She managed to scoop the 2018 best TV show Buzz teenz awards.[12][2]
