Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi (born 7 September 1985) is a Ugandan Author, Executive director Caring Hearts Uganda[1] girl child activist, in charge of One Love Beach in Busabaala[2] and Uganda philanthropist who was born from Ntungamo District. She is currently married to Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine. She is a mother of four.[3]
Early childhood life[edit]
Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi is a munyankole by the tribe who was raised in the village of Kyempene, Rugarama Sub County in the south-western part of Uganda, Ntungamo District.[4] She went to Bweranyangi Girls School for her High School. She later joined Makerere University from where she graduated with Social Work and Social Administration (SWASA) course.[4][3] She loves acting[4] dancing, getting along, playing the flute[3] among others.

They have four children; Shadraq Shilling Mbogo Kyagulanyi, Shalom Namagembe Kyagulanyi, Solomon Kampala Nyanzi Kyagulanyi, Suubi Shine Nakaayi Kyagulanyi.[2]
Work experience[edit]
She wrote a book 'Golden memories of a Village Belle’, written in 2012, gives a link on how her childhood was exciting[4] which is also known for her major participation in charity works, cancer awareness, HIV awareness, girl child education awareness and malaria eradication among others.[2][4] She founded Caring Hearts Uganda in 2013.[1]
She is a writer with the Matooke Republic, parenting column. She was the Executive Director of Ghetto President Reality TV Show that aired back then on UBC TV.[2]

- The Most Decent Figure for 2015, awarded by Decent Africa.
- Award for supporting teen mothers ‘Cordeiro Excellence in leadership Award 2018’ by the Aid Child Leadership Institute.[2]
