Corporate History[edit]

Ansira formerly NSI Marketing Services is a privately held marketing and advertising company with co-headquarters in Downtown St. Louis[3] and Dallas. NSI Marketing Services, which had been functioning in the industry since 1919, acquired Razor and rebranded itself as Ansira in 2011 after NSI and Razor merged.[4][5][6]

From 2000 to 2011 the company grew from 50 employees to 450 and expanded from one to eight offices.[7] A major factor in that growth was the 2009 acquisition of CoAMS, Inc., established in 1982, which had more than 100 employees and a client roster of more than 50 Fortune 1000 companies.[8]

In 2011, NSI acquired Razor, a marketing strategy and customer engagement agency based in Dallas.[9][10]

In 2012, KRG Capital, a Denver-based private equity firm made an investment in Ansira.[11][12]

In October 2015, Ansira acquired SQ1, a digital marketing and analytics agency based in Dallas for about $55 million.[13][14]

Then, in December 2016, Advent International purchased Ansira from KRG capital, who exited as a result of the sale.[15]

In September 2017 Advent and the Ansira Board of Directors appointed former Performics CEO and author (Marketing in the Participation Age, 2012; Grace Meets Grit, 2016) Daina Middleton to the CEO post, the first woman to lead Ansira in its 100-year history.[16][17]

In June 2018, Ansira acquired software as a Service (SaaS)-based platform Brand Protection Agency (BPA) based in Dallas, Texas.[18][19]

In October 2018, Ansira acquired Adobe solutions provider, Defakto, based in Dallas, Texas.[20][21]
