Anthony Byron Fletcher (born December 1981) is a British entrepreneur and former CEO of snack company Graze.[1][2]

Early life and education[edit]

Fletcher studied at the University of Oxford, where he obtained a master's degree in chemistry. He also carried out radiopharmaceutical research at Princeton University.[3][4]

Career[edit]

In 2009, Fletcher joined Graze after sampling a snack box that had been delivered to Innocent Drinks, where he was innovation manager. He then drove across London to the Graze office to ask for a job. He later became the third employee after the founders.[4][3][5][6]

In 2012, Fletcher became CEO of Graze when he led a management buyout of the company.[4]

In 2015, Fletcher helped bring Graze to the US market. In the same year, Graze was listed in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100, a list of Britain's top 100 fastest growing companies. The company also launched in 4,000 UK retailers, including Sainsbury's, Boots and WHSmith.[4][7][8]

In 2019, Fletcher played a pivotal role in securing Graze's sale to Unilever for £150 million.[9]

In 2021, Fletcher launched doughnut company Urban Legend under Believe in Science, the parent company which he also founded.[10]
