Anuj Singh (born 14 January 1987) is an Indian farmer rights activist and youth president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU).[1] He participated in the non-violent farmer protests in 2020–2021 to cause the repeal of three farmer laws implemented by the Indian government.[2][3]

Early life

Anuj Singh was born on 14 January 1987 in Kasimabad District of Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. He took membership of Bharatiya Kisan Union in 2011.[4] On 18 November 2021, he surrounded Prayagraj PDA office with tractors and farmers.[5][6] 1000 tractors and 50 farmers along with thousands of people surrounded the Allahabad Commissioner. On November 6, 2022, he led a Mahapanchayat of 40 thousand farmers with guest Rakesh Tikait to end fake cases against farmers.[7][8][9]
