Anup Prashar[1], (born 14 September 1978), is an Artist producer and presenter in the music industry. He started his career as an artist manager and in 1999 he became the founder and owner of ACME Muzic and ACME Entertainment. Further, in 2015 and 2016, he launched his companies AK Productions and Ullumanati [2][3], respectively.

Anup is also recognised by the name of ‘Launch machine’, as he has kick-started the career of many popular Punjabi singers. He has been the backbone of some highly celebrated faces of Punjabi industry which includes internationally acclaimed stars like Yo Yo Honey Singh, J Star, Money Aujla, Viruss[4][5], Alfaaz and Romey Gill.

It is by the virtue of his hard work, creative brilliance and profound skills that he has nurtured a sparkling career for all his clients. Further, his enlightening guidance has enabled over 100 Punjabi stars to accomplish their dream career.

Early life and family[edit]

Anup Kumar [6], also called Anup Prashar was born on 14th September, 1978, in Mathura, India and brought up in Chandigarh. He is Hindu by religion and has done his schooling from Chandigarh only. Kumar started his career as an Artist Manager and his first project was with Late Romey Gill, the famous Punjabi Singer. In the initial days of his career, he presented two albums- Nakhra Chadi Jawani Da and Jogan Hogaye Ve to T- series. These albums became very famous and he started to get many new projects. He is happily married to Navgeet Kaur, who actively supports his work as the wardrobe and Makeup advisory for all his artists. They both are blessed with a son.

Career[edit]

Anup Kumar is presently the owner of three music production houses- ACME Muzic, ACME Entertainment and Ullumanati[7]. Ullumanati (2016) is the most recent banner of Anup Kumar and he is making a number of songs under it. Being the founder of the project, he is the face of Ullumanati, which is the reason, many times his name is often swapped with the brand name.

Pollywood[edit]

Anup Kumar has produced Punjabi movie Raduaa[8], which released on 11May 2018. The cast of the movie includes Punjabi celebrities such as Nav Bajwa, Gurpreet Ghuggi, B.N Sharma and Satinder Satti.

Kittie Party- The music of the Movie Kittie Party was given by Ullumanati. It got released on 13th December, 2019.
