Appy was founded by Esteban Chaves and Maricruz Campos at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (ITCR) in 2018.[1]
The company launched a crowdfunding[2] campaign [3] in 2017 and raised $22,000 to start the development process. [4]. Appy offers consulting services in the field of software as a service (SaaS); Software as a service (SaaS) services featuring software for use in e-commerce, forms creation, building websites, customer relationship management, accounting management, project management, human resources control, payroll tracking, issuing purchase orders, work order management, and material management, all in the field of small business management.
The company was part of the Seedstars global competition.[5][6]
