Aquinas Consulting was founded in Milford, Connecticut by co-founders Thomas Mercaldo and Haruthay "Pam" Rasmidatta in July 2000[2]. Thomas Mercaldo is an American entrepreneur, software professional, business executive, and author[3]. Started as a small, home-based business in 2000 providing IT consulting and permanent employee placement[3], Aquinas Consulting's mission is to help people get jobs that improve their lives, create jobs in Connecticut, and help companies find skilled, U.S.-based employees to effectively grow their business.
Aquinas Consulting expanded its service in 2003, providing engineering talent including nuclear, mechanical, and electrical engineering[4].
A few years later, in 2005, they also began providing specialty defense industry personnel[4].
Aquinas Consulting opened its Milford, Connecticut headquarters in 2006[5]. The headquarters has since been expanded and the company has established branches in New Hampshire, New York, Georgia, and Utah[4]. Aquinas Consulting has grown into a company focused on job creation and talent identification with a national reach with employees working in 17 states[5].
In 2017, the company was ranked #5.[2] in the Top Workplaces[6] as they reached $15 million in revenue for the first time and secured their 200th client.
