ArchiLogs is an add-on for the architectural design software Archicad.
What is ArchiLogs?[edit]
ArchiLogs is a powerful tool for log house designers, marketers, and manufacturers. One software covers the whole design process from modeling to production and marketing, since it offers outstanding visualization features as well.[1] After the building has been designed in Archicad, ArchiLogs continues from the architectural model to the stage of production. All Archicad features are in use. This means, that ArchiLogs enables log house design all the way to the production in only one environment.
Structural engineers can continue working in the same Archicad model that architects have created. Engineers do not need to re-model log walls, but all changes are done in the same model. With BIMcloud work can even be done simultaneously. This speeds up the project workflow significantly.
ArchiLogs produces all necessary drawings and plans, and generates files for any CNC machine (BVN to Hundegger, BTL to Auer, PRG and KPL).
ArchiLogs Designer[edit]
ArchiLogs Designer is an ArchiLogs version that is adapted to the needs of architects. It includes the tools that make sketching and designing log homes faster. ArchiLogs Designer offers tools for the efficient and exact design of log buildings, as well as a comprehensive ArchiLogs Library.[1] Compared to the ArchiLogs full version, the log conversion is disabled in this version.

The development of ArchiLogs has started in Finland already in the 1990s by Micro Aided Design Oy. In the beginning, it was for a long time known as M.A.D. Hirret, but when the product became international, the name was first changed to M.A.D. Logs, and nowadays the internationally used name is ArchiLogs. ArchiLogs is developed together with the world's largest manufacturers of log homes, so it answers log industry needs very well. ArchiLogs is available in English and in Finnish.
