Arnavaz Taraporevala is an American mathematics professor and textbook author based in New York City.[1]

Education[edit]

Taraporevala received her bachelor's in mathematics from Delhi University in 1980 and master's in statistics from Indian Statistical Institute in 1982.[2] She then received her PhD in economics from Michigan State University in 1988.[3]

Career[edit]

Taraporevala is professor in the Department of Mathematics at the New York City College of Technology, where she has taught since 1994.[4][2] In 2013, Taraporevala published her book, Visualizing Calculus by Way of Maple.[5]
