Artur "RavenCalledSnejku" Zurawik (born September 8, 1992) is a Polish writer, singer, songwriter, musician, actor, streamer and YouTube partner. He is best known as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and primary songwriter for the Polish rock band "Despised Kids" and "Stay with me". Artur released his first book called "Song 1: Je Suis" in 2019 and also stared in Polish HBO series "Pakt", 2018 world cup commercial for Samsung and other Polish movies.
For gaming community known as Pokémon streamer and youtuber with channel on twitch "RavenCalledSnejku" and YouTube "PokemonCouple".
Music Career[edit]
Anty Alarm (2008–2009)[edit]
As a teenager, Zurawik was a part of small punk band named "Anty Alarm" which translates to "Anit Alarm". During those years, he started learning how to play guitar with help of his best friend Janet. Zurawik was kicked out of the band in 2009, we don't know the reason as he never said anything in interviews.
Despised Kids (2012–2016)[edit]
Band was created in September 2012 by Artur Zurawik and Michal Kubiak. Shortly after Marcin Bytnar joined the band as the third member. In February 2013 they released independly their first EP called "Czy ja doroslem" that cought attention of "All Seeing Eye Art" label.
In may of 2013, they got signed by that label and rerecorded their EP in English. EP was called "Growing up".
After first Polish tour that took place in summer of 2013, the band went for the first time to professional studio called Katofonia Workshop and recorded their first professional EP "Party Time" that was released worldwide through various websites and sellers.
First single "Love in a hospital" gained band the traction as soon after in summer of 2014 band had its first European tour, playing in countries like: Germany, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Czech Republic and Belarus. In 2015 before their summer European tour band release their single "You Know" and started working on full album.
During first leg of the tour band played in: England, France, Germany, Holland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. Band was scheduled to play in Russia but didn't get visa so Russians date got cancelled. Second leg of the tour was played in Poland until beginning of October.
In January 2016 band premiered their brand new song from upcoming album in Polish Radio called "Paper Heart" and teased album release for summer of that year. In June 2016 band split.
Stay With Me (2016–present)[edit]
Zurawik created Stay With Me as his solo project. He recorded old songs and wrote new ones for what became later a first EP of the band. In late 2016 Kiril Oriekhov joined the band to play drums during live shows.
On May 6, 2017, the first EP called "Cloud Walker" was released worldwide in physical stores like Empik and also on steraming services Tidal Spotify iTunes and more. In 2019 Band released EP called "Matches & Roses"
Writing[edit]
In 2019 Zurawik published his first book "Song 1: Je Suis" and turned one of his years from life into a story.
Twitch and YouTube[edit]
Started streaming Pokémon Trading Card Game in 2018 as "RavenCalledSnejku" later creating YouTube channel "PokemonCouple" also playing Pokémon games.
