Arun Sood (born 22 May 1971) is an Indian politician from Bharatiya Janata Party serving as city President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Chandigarh as elected on 18 January 2020. He has also served as 20th Mayor of Chandigarh elected in January 2016. He is the third person from the Bharatiya Janata Party to become the Mayor of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, after Kamla Sharma in 1997 and Shanta Hit Abhilashi in 2000. He was a member of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He is an advocate at Punjab and Haryana High Court.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
