Ashish Hemrajani is the CEO and co-founder of Bigtree Entertainment, which operates BookMyShow, an Indian entertainment ticketing platform.[1]
Early Life[edit]
Born & bought up in the Mumbai Suburbs, Ashish Hemrajani is a true-blue Juhu boy at heart. Having studied at the very renowned Maneckji Cooper Education Trust followed by Mithibai College, Ashish, is also armed with a Master’s in Business Management from the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education (University of Mumbai) in 1997.[2][3]
Career[edit]
Ashish is the co-founder of an online ticketing platform, BookMyshow, which he founded in 2007 with his two friends, Rajesh Balpande and Parikshit Dar. Having worked with J.W. Thompson after his graduation, Hemrajani also has had some years of corporate familiarity before his entrepreneurial stint.[4]
