Background
Ashley Lopez was raised in Torrance, California for the majority of her life. Ashley had practiced the art of surfing on the Torrance beach before moving to Arizona. While in California, she attended Torrance High School for 9th and 10th grade and then moved to Arizona where she continued her education online. Similar to another artist, Lopez had a getaway vacation home at Echo Lodge Resort in California for about 15 years. It wasn't until 2020 when she and DJX Kbrokaysen had met.
Occupation
The river was another practice field for Lopez while she was surfing. She substituted wakeboarding as an activity she enjoyed doing since she was a little girl. This was the only thing she was involved in until the night of March 15, 2020, when she found herself in the initiation to the River Squad Declaration. Ashley became a primary member of the River Squad, and during her time with the group, she eventually found herself on air in the River Vlog film with DJX Kbrokaysen and LI Shane Sum.[1] The first episode she appeared on (River Vlog S1/E13) was with DJX Kbrokaysen and Blake. She appeared in a second episode after that where she taught DJX Kbrokaysen and Blake how to wakeboard. The two episodes are among the most popular in the series so far.
Response to The River Squad Saga
The story is very well known to the Vexar community and still stands as one of the most exotic adventures in its history. Much like DJX Kbrokaysen, Ashley Lopez had her own saying on the saga itself.
| “ | The drama is so stupid. I don't want to have to pick and choose a side. I am chill with everyone and I choose not to have problems with people because it's stupid. | ” |

It wasn't much longer until the two alpha leaders had decided to go separate ways in July. DJX Kbrokaysen had continued with his group as Ashley did the same. The territories lasted for a couple of months and drama only got worse after the release of "On Period" by the RiverRat team. Along with the diss song was "The River Squad Saga Documentary" which followed shortly after the song. Ashley was extremely upset with the outcome that had been led to by this point. The friendship between Ashley and Kaysen had been demolished until October of 2020 when Kaysen had called for peace.
