Ashton, California

Ashton is a former settlement in Lassen County, California.[1] It was located on Ash Creek 13 miles (21 km) west of Madeline.[1]
A post office operated at Ashton from 1889 to 1900, moving one mile to the northeast in 1897. Post office service was moved to Madeline in 1900.[1][2]
