Ashwin Bhaskar is an Indian singer, songwriter, audio engineer and Youtuber from Malappuram, Kerala.[1] He started his Youtube channel in 2012. Ashwin is best known for his remixes and music created from dialogues. He also frequently uploads covers of pop songs and malayalam songs.
In April 2021, Ashwin released a music video titled Perfect OK which went viral on social media. The video has more than 12 million views on YouTube and is his most popular video.[2][3]
As of August 2021, his videos have more than 60 million views with more than a million subscribers.[4]
Personal Life[edit]
Ashwin earned his diploma in Audio Engineering from KM Music Conservatory in Chennai after completing engineering.[5] He did his engineering from Cochin University College of Engineering Kuttanad.[6]
YouTube Channel[edit]
He started his YouTube channel in September, 2012 and uploaded his first video titled Inception - Time FL Studio Cover by Vector Music Productions. The video is a recreation of the soundtrack scored by Hans Zimmer from the movie Inception.[7]
In 2021, Ashwin rose to fame after he released the song Perfect OK on YouTube. Ashwin remixed a short viral video clip recorded by a man named K P Naisal. Naisal, who is an auto rickshaw driver created the video to comfort his dear friend who tested positive for COVID-19 in 2020.[8][9] The music video has gained millions of views on YouTube.
