Ashwin Srinivasan is Head Business Development and Deputy General Manager for the Global Business division of the Indian telecom company Bharti Airtel.

Education[edit]

Born to a senior Indian Border Security Force officer, Srinivasan graduated from FMS Delhi , University of Delhi with an M.B.A in Marketing. He holds a Bachelors in Economics (Honors) from Sri Venkateswara College University of Delhi and had attended the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) in Malaysia for his secondary schooling.

Srinivasan joined airtel in 2007. He has held multiple roles in Global Business division such as Business Development Manager (2007-2009), Regional Manager - Asia Pacific (2009- 2012), Senior Regional Manager- Middle East (2012- 2014) and presently is responsible to lead the business development initiatives globally for airtel. His span of roles has been across various products, customer segments and technologies such as wholesale voice, wholesale data, submarine and satellite bandwidth, SMS and Signalling solutions.

Other experiences[edit]

Srinivasan was selected as reverse mentor for key airtel management board members as part of airtel's strategic initiative on leadership development [1] [2]
