Asid bin Kurz al-Bajali
Asad[1] bin Kurz bin 'Amir bin Abdillah bin Abdi Syams bin Ghamghamah bin Jarir bin Syaq bin Saab bin Yasykar bin Raham bin Afrak bin Afsa bin Nazir bin Qasr bin Abqar bin Anmar al-Bajali[2][3] and his son Yazid bin Asid were companions of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.[4][5]
Virtues[edit]
When he converted to Islam together with someone from Banu Thaqif, he presented a bow to Muhammad and then asked for and received his blessings.[6]
Hadith narrations[edit]
The tabi'in who took the narration from him included Dhamrah bin Habib and Asid's own grandson Khalid bin Abdullah bin Asid. It is recorded that he narrated several hadiths, including the command to love and love others as we love ourselves[7] and hadiths about disease fever that can abort sin sufferers.[8]
