From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Audre Vysniauskas, also known as "audre", is an American digital graphics artist and founder of Renderosity magazine. After obtaining her degree in Electrical Engineering and working with information systems[1] as a systems integrator/computer consultant, she became an illustrator and is also co-editor of Digital Art for the 21st Century: Renderosity and Practical Poser 6.[2] Vysniauskas has been a strong advocate of the use of computers in creating art. She incorporates fractals, photographs, and other unlikely elements in her work and has used a variety of software to create her work, including Ultra Fractal, Adobe Photoshop, Bryce, and Poser.[3] Vysniauskas served as the Wiz-Op for one of the first online art communities, Ron Howard's Art Forum on CompuServe. She is also the founder and manager of the first digital art section for Dragon Con.
