Australia will participate in the Eurovision Asia Song Contest in the 2018 contest.[1]
Australia has taken part in the original Eurovision Song Contest since 2015. In 2016, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) gave the Australian broadcaster Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) the rights to produce an Asian version of the original Eurovision. This became the Eurovision Asia Song Contest which is expected to start in 2018.
