He obtained his DM Degree in Cardiology from Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai in 2015, earning a University Gold Medal. Clinical Services
Dr. B. Vinod Kumar began working on cardiac diseases at the age of 18 as an undergraduate medical student. In 2009, he established a private diabetes and cardiology center in Mogappair, Chennai, with his father. After completing his superspecialty in Cardiology in 2015, he opened his private cardiology center, Chennai Cardiac Care (C3 Clinic), in Mogappair, Chennai, in 2016. Registered under the Tamil Nadu Clinical Establishment Act, this center has over 2000 registered patients. He served as an assistant professor at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Chennai, from 2015 to 2020 and has been an Associate Professor and in charge of the cardiac intensive care unit since 2021.
Research
In 2016, Dr. B. Vinod Kumar, along with his family, established the C3 Research Foundation (C3RF), a non-profit organization in Chennai. This foundation is registered as a Trust in Tamil Nadu and under the Ministry of Home Affairs for receiving foreign funds.
